How to calculate bullnose/trim tile needed for your wall project:

• Measure each edge that needs trim
• Add up total linear feet needed
• Add 10-15% extra for cuts and waste
• Convert to pieces needed based on tile length

Specific Areas to Measure for Trim:

• Outside corners/edges
• Window frames/openings
• Door frames
• Top edges (if not going to ceiling)
• Bottom edges (if not starting at floor)
• Any transitions between materials
• Around fixtures/outlets

Calculation Example:

Measure each edge:

Window (6' wide × 2 + 4' tall × 2) = 20 linear feet
Outside corner (8' tall) = 8 linear feet
Top edge of wall (10' wide) = 10 linear feet
Total = 38 linear feet

Add 15% waste:
38 × 1.15 = 43.7 linear feet needed

Convert to pieces:

If bullnose pieces are 6" long:
43.7 feet × 2 (pieces per foot) = 87.4 pieces
Round up to 88 pieces needed
